is a wholly owned Oil and Gas Engineering Consulting Company, incorporated in the USA and Nigeria in 1997. In response to the demand for our expertise, GPR launched a new office in Calgary, Canada in 2014. GPR is one of the largest manpower service & professional staff augmentation companies in West Africa with an outstanding record of performance on the Chevron Escravos Gas-to-Liquids (EGTL) Project in Nigeria. We have also performed various engineering design services for Addax & Chevron Nigeria Limited. Our success with these projects is reflected in our client commendations, which are attached for reference purposes.

GPR has demonstrated proficient technical capability and prides itself in the understanding of local immigration and labor laws for the U.S., various African countries, Canada. GPR has an international presence in many countries where we recruit, including but not limited to; India, Indonesia, the Middle East, the United Kingdom, the United States, which allows us to understand the challenges and manage foreign nationals effectively. To demonstrate what a multinational company GPR is, the makeup of the 550+ staff for just the EGTL Project alone included Expats made up of 25% USA; 25% UK / EU; 25% Indian & Far Eastern; and 25% Africans. OUR PHILOSOPHY
GPR’s philosophy is to provide a local service with international understanding and expertise. This is emphasized through our policies to synergize the relationship between the client and local communities and the Knowledge of social and political premises existing in those countries of our operation.

GPR ensures all our home office and manpower activities are based on a comprehensive HSE program, including medical reviews, pre-employment and annual physicals and drug screenings, to ensure that all GPS personnel follow our commitment and our clients’ commitment to HSE policies and standards. To date, GPR has booked over 2 million manhours without an LTI!
STAFF DEVELOPMENT
Developing our staff starts with basic training in areas of company standards of business conduct, safety management and security awareness issues.
For example, in our Nigerian office, GPR recommended a need for the domestication of engineering design work. We were and are fully prepared and equipped for the mission with relevant technical alliances from all over the world. Said relationships will be utilized based on project dictates and the expertise required. Technical partners are also fully prepared to carry out all design work with the GPR team on ground in the USA, Nigeria, in Canada.
Training is extremely important to GPR. This is especially true in terms of maintaining quality, increasing and improving the technological capabilities of the individual, and in turn the team itself. A comprehensive training program has been developed for all required positions, which will generally cover the following components:
DEVELOPEMENT POLICY & PROGRAM
Global Petroleum Resources has a complete engineering design operation and personnel management office in Lagos, Nigeria. GPR is committed to working in Nigeria based on a long-term engagement and bringing together the necessary resources to support the Nigeria operations in the GPR office. Global Petroleum Resources will provide the team’s operation in Lagos with all the necessary resources and engineering expertise. Our objective is to perform engineering activities together with the transfer of technology and know-how to promote and enhance local engineering capabilities.
The GPR Management team understands that there is a need for a range of engineering support services. In that, we propose a call-off contract approach that may best suit many local clients. In the provision of these services, we consider the following to be key issues:
